C&G Law Firm provided advice on a financing project in the cryptocurrency sector

Our law firm recently provided advice on the Polish legal aspects of a significant and innovative financing facility granted by Phoenix Labs Limited. The lead and English law aspects of the transaction were handled by Nick Stainthorpe and David Worby from Reed Smith LLP.

Our support included analysing agreements that enable the processing of cryptocurrency payments via dedicated digital platforms, as well as the withdrawal of funds in fiat currencies to bank accounts (‘off-ramping’). We also advised on an assessment of regulatory risks under Polish law in relation to a contract governed by Polish law and the activities of an entity operating in the Polish market.

This project was delivered on the C&G side by the team comprising Piotr Gałuszyński, Maja Batra, and Iga Karasińska.

This project is an example of the support we provide to clients operating in the areas of financial law, technology and cross-border service cooperation.
