Practice Experience

Jacek Czabański specializes in banking and finance law and foreign exchange regulations.

He specializes in advising clients on and in the planning of structured finance projects, derivatives markets and banking and foreign exchange regulations. He has also participated in negotiations and drafted privatization agreements and agreements for foreign banks to purchase shares.

He has advised leading foreign banks in establishing their subsidiaries and representative offices in Poland, as well as the privatization process of banks owned by the State Treasury. He has also advised on preparing banking structures, obtaining licenses, and has represented clients before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

Jacek has considerable regulatory experience in the banking sector, and has represented foreign credit institutions in contacts with the Polish banking supervision authorities in license proceedings related to purchasing stakes in banks.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jacek worked for a leading Polish bank and subsequently for the Warsaw office of White & Case (17 years).
