C&G advised Focus Estate Fund on the acquisition of three shopping centers in Silesia

In recent months, we have advised our long-standing Client, Focus Estate Fund, on another investment in the Polish retail real estate market, this time involving the acquisition of three shopping centers: Sosnowiec Plaza, Ruda Śląska Plaza, and Rybnik Plaza.

The acquired properties, with a total leasable area of approximately 46,000 m², are located in key cities of the agglomeration. Their advantages include a strong local position and a diverse tenant base, including well-known domestic and international brands such as Carrefour, H&M, Reserved, Rossmann, CCC and Cinema City.

Our advisory services included comprehensive legal and tax support, including due diligence, preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation, as well as representation of the Client in the conclusion of a loan agreement with BNP Paribas.

The transaction was carried out in close cooperation with KKLW’s financial advisor and the Gleeds team.

On the buyer’s side, the transaction was handled by a team from the Czabański & Gałuszyński law firm, consisting of Piotr Gałuszyński, Urszula Rachwol, Maja Batra, and Iga Karasińska

This is another transaction in which we had the pleasure of supporting Focus Estate Fund in implementing its strategy to expand its presence in Poland. We would like to thank the Fund’s team, Maxim Shkolnick, Serhii Sushko, Oleksandr Romanyshyn and Andrii Mykhonik for their trust and excellent cooperation.
