C&G Law Firm advised on funding for biomedical research at Gladstone Institutes and Arc Institute

We are glad to share that our law firm had the privilege of advising our Client, Fundacja Dekpol S.A., on providing significant funding to support groundbreaking biomedical research led by Isha Jain, PhD at the Gladstone Institutes and Arc Institute in California.

Dr. Isha Jain is a world-renowned scientist recognized for her pioneering work at the intersection of molecular biology and medicine. Her research focuses on understanding how cells respond to oxygen levels and how this knowledge can be translated into new therapeutic strategies. As a recipient of multiple prestigious scientific awards, Dr. Jain leads a team whose discoveries have the potential to reshape our understanding of complex diseases.

Both the Gladstone Institutes and the Arc Institute bring together some of the world’s brightest researchers, working in close collaboration with leading universities such as Stanford University, to advance innovative approaches in medicine and biotechnology. The funded project aims to develop therapies that could transform the treatment landscape for patients with rare neurological conditions.

Over the past few weeks, the C&G team, comprising Piotr Gałuszynski, Urszula Rachwol, Iga Karasińska, and Maja Batra, provided comprehensive legal guidance throughout the negotiation and execution of the Donation Agreement, ensuring a smooth and effective process.
