C&G law firm advised Focus Estate Fund on the acquisition of Galeria Sandecja shopping centre

We advised again our prominent Client Focus Estate Fund on another shopping centre acquisition in Poland, this time acquiring Galeria Sandecja in Nowy Sącz. The transaction was an international one and involved a number of entities from Poland, Denmark and Cyprus.

Galeria Sandecja is a shopping centre with a total area of over 17,700 square metres. The facility is the first shopping centre built in Nowy Sącz, has been in operation since 2009 and houses more than 70 shops as well as service and gastronomic outlets.

This is another Focus Estate Fund investment in Poland that we advised on. After the successful acquisitions taking place in December 2022 and January 2023, this is the seventh shopping mall in Poland in our Client’s business portfolio. With the acquisition of Galeria Sandecja, the GLA managed by our client exceeded 100,000 square metres in Poland.

The seller, the Danish Agat group, was represented by Argon Legal and Colliers, while the Buyer was supported by a team of Czabański & Gałuszyński lawyers including Piotr Gałuszyński, Adam Janczewski, Katarzyna Pasek, Maja Batra, Iga Karasińska and tax advisor Marcin Panek.
